NEWS ARTICLE SUBMISSIONS
The Los Angeles Times in Capital H is posted once every in-game week – once every two weeks IRL – with a few pieces of in-game news. How relevant the news is varies; sometimes it's plot stuff or foreshadowing, sometimes it's just a bit of background flavour/worldbuilding.
This post is for you to submit your own news items, whether they're to draw attention to/announce something that's happening, lay some foundations for some plot you're planning to roll out in the future, or just for fun. Articles can be about any topic, local or worldwide, as long as they're newsworthy.
If it's a plot thing, we prefer that you write your own article, but if it's just a fun, non-vital background story and you don't feel like writing an entire article you can just suggest an idea and we'll write it up ourselves if we feel like using it (although you can, of course, still write the article yourself if you want to). Images are optional but can be included if you want, and feel free to either make up your own reporters or use names of ones who've already contributed to the newspaper in past updates.
We will probably use all articles submitted, although we may make some corrections for the sake of stylistic consistency – try to make sure your article is written with an appropriately neutral tone that fits with the kind of articles we've got already
If your plot article is time sensitive let us know and we'll try to get it in ASAP.
